Join the Nekoosa Easter extravaganza for Breakfast with the Bunny, Easter Craft, Arts & More Show, Bunny 5k Run and Egg Hunt. Have a lovely breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Retirement Community of Nekoosa. Bring your camera to take photos to remember with the Easter Bunny. Get hoppin’ during the Bunny Run 5K Run/Walk. Start the journey at Goodfella’s Pizza head down the bike path towards ERCO Worldwide and back the same route. Get your Easter and spring decor at the Arts, Crafts & More Show. Can't miss the traditional Easter Egg Hunt at Alexander Middle School. Easter Egg Hunt age groups include 4 and under, 5 to 7, and 8 to 10 years old. The Retirement Community of Nekoosa residents generously fill over 3,000 eggs between each age group.

This Spring Seminar presented by Wood County Master Gardener Association is designed to whet your appetite for the upcoming growing season and to provide you with information from local experts about a variety of gardening related topics. This 2019 event will feature Laish Heersma from Arbor Vantage Nursery in Arpin, and Denise Larson, a 15-year veteran of the Master Gardener Association.

Laish will present on land architecture design principles and will include plenty of photographic examples to demonstrate the principles of unity, rhythm, variety, balance, color concepts, interconnection, emphasis, focal point, and scale.

Denise is an amateur photographer and taking photos of gardens is second nature to her! Merging her love of photography with a garden journal turned out to be a perfect way to enhance and organize a written catalog of what successes in her gardening adventures and what might need a little work. She will speak about garden photography and garden journaling.

Refreshments will be provided.
