"The Beat Goes On" for KIDS From Wisconsin!

Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM CDT
Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids
Event Description:
After 50 years of entertaining audiences across Wisconsin and beyond, the KIDS beat is stronger than ever in its 51st season. The troupe is coming to the Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids on Monday, July 15, featuring music and artists that have stood the test of time. The music is both traditional, award-winning, and notorious, aimed to get audiences on their feet! The songs of today that are featured have beats that will last well into the future. And the iconic sound of the KIDS band will wow you with some winning toe-tapping tunes featuring some of rock’s greatest guitar riffs and percussive Latin beats. Megan Shields of Port Edwards is a singer/dance in the 2019 troupe. While the KIDS show begins at 7:00 p.m., Rapids School of Performing Arts will be performing two musical theater numbers prior to the show, at about 6:40 p.m., so arrive early for some bonus entertainment! Proceeds from the performance will be donated to a special fund established to maintain our beautiful PAC. Tickets are $16 and may be purchased through the Arts Council of South Wood County.
